São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Ganzhou, located in the south of Jiangxi Province, is the southern gate of Jiangxi, situated in the upper reaches of Gan River, neighboring Fujian in the east and Guangdong in the south, and is an important node city connecting the Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta. Historically, Ganzhou was one of the four famous cities in Jiangnan during the Song Dynasty, known as the "Song City in Jiangnan", and has preserved precious relics such as the ancient city walls and the ancient floating bridges of the Song Dynasty, which still retains a rich Song flavor. Ganzhou is also known as the "world's tungsten capital" and "rare earth kingdom", rich in mineral resources; at the same time, as the "world's orange township", Gannan navel oranges enjoy a good reputation throughout the country. The Hakka culture here is profound, and the intangible cultural heritage such as Gannan Tea Picking Opera and Hakka Houses is unique, making it a charming city that combines natural landscapes, history and humanities with modern development.
