São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Located in Laiwu District, Jinan City, Shandong Province, China, Shandong Steel City is an industrial town developed on the back of Laiwu Iron & Steel Group. As an important steel production base in Shandong Province, the regional economy of Steel City is dominated by steel smelting, machinery manufacturing and new material industries, with a well-developed industrial infrastructure and industry chain. The region has convenient transportation, adjacent to the Beijing-Shanghai Expressway and Jilai High Speed Railway, connecting to the Jinan Metropolitan Area, with significant location advantages.
In recent years, Steel City has actively promoted industrial transformation and upgrading, focusing on environmental protection and sustainable development, while retaining its rich Qilu cultural heritage. Local tourism resources include the Chess Mountain Scenic Area and the Laiwu Battle Memorial Museum, which blend natural landscapes with red historical elements, attracting tourists to explore.
