São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Fusong County is located in the southeastern part of Jilin Province in China, belonging to Baishan City, and is situated at the western foot of Changbai Mountain, which is the birthplace of Songhua River. Fusong County is famous for its unique natural resources, known as the "City of Mineral Springs" and the "Hometown of Ginseng", with an average annual temperature of about 4℃, four distinct seasons, and a forest coverage rate of more than 85%, making it an important ecological barrier in the Northeast.
Fusong's core attraction lies in the tourism resources of Changbaishan, with natural wonders such as Tianchi, hot springs and ski resorts. Wanda Changbaishan International Resort offers world-class ski facilities and high-end hotel clusters, with a deep integration of winter sports and eco-tourism. The local area is rich in wild ginseng and has a deep ginseng culture, with the annual Ginseng Festival attracting many tourists.
Conveniently located, the area is connected to major cities through Changbaishan Airport and the highway network. Fusong combines nature conservation with sustainable development, and is a model low-carbon tourism area and health and wellness destination in China, combining natural wilderness with modern leisure experiences.
