São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Fujairah is one of the seven emirates of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), situated along the Gulf of Oman, and is known for its unique geographical location and natural beauty. It is the only emirate in the UAE whose main territory is on the eastern coast, avoiding dependence on the Strait of Hormuz and making it an important oil storage and shipping hub.
The Port of Fujairah is one of the world's largest bunker fuel supply centers, supporting global trade and energy transportation. The emirate has a diversified economy that includes port operations, tourism and agriculture, which utilizes its fertile soil to produce fruits and vegetables. In recent years, it has aggressively developed its infrastructure to attract investment.
Fujairah is rich in historical sites, such as Fujairah Fort and ancient mosques, as well as beautiful natural attractions, including the Hajar Mountains and pristine beaches. Visitors can enjoy scuba diving, trekking and cultural festivals to experience the UAE's blend of tradition and modernity.
