São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Fengxiang, belonging to Baoji City of Shaanxi Province, is located in the western part of Guanzhong Plain, and is an important node of the ancient Silk Road, known as "Fengxiang of the Western Capital". It was once one of the birthplaces of Zhou and Qin, and the ruins of pre-Qin Yongcheng are located here, witnessing the glorious history of the Qin people from their rise to unification. Fengxiang clay sculptures and woodblock prints are listed in the national intangible cultural heritage, and the painted clay sculptures of Liujing Village, with exaggerated shapes and strong colors, are regarded as "the living fossil of Chinese clay sculpture art". In addition, Fengxiang East Lake was built under the auspices of Su Shi when he was a signatory of Fengxiang Prefecture, and it is known as "the sister lake of West Lake", with deep humanistic heritage among the lakes and mountains. As the "hometown of folk arts and crafts", Fengxiang attracts tourists from all over the world to explore the ancient charm of the millennium with its unique folk culture and historical relics.
