São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Fengman District is located in the south-central part of Jilin City, Jilin Province, China, in the middle reaches of the Songhua River, named after the world-famous Fengman Hydroelectric Power Station, known as the "Cradle of China's Hydroelectric Power". Songhua Lake, the core scenic spot in the area, is a national AAAAA level tourist attraction, where the lake and mountains reflect each other, and it is a summer resort in summer and an ice and snow paradise in winter, with rich snow and ice tourism resources. As an important cultural and tourism functional area in Jilin City, Fengmang District integrates the culture of hydropower industry, natural ecological landscape and folk customs, with flowers in the spring and forests in the fall, which are scenic in all seasons. In addition, it also produces black rice, fungus and other specialty agricultural products, and is an important ecological agricultural base in the Jilin region. With its unique resource endowment of "mountains, water, forests, fields and lakes", Fengman District has become a bright pearl in the map of cultural tourism in Northeast China.
