São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Zer-Miu is a small town in south-central Albania, located about 80 kilometers south of Tirana, in the state of Elbasan. The town is situated between rolling hills and is surrounded by agriculture and animal husbandry as the main economic activities, with the local population growing grains and vegetables and raising cattle and sheep. Zermiu retains the traditional look of the Albanian countryside, with stone-built houses and winding streets that have a quaint atmosphere. Despite its small size, it has a beautiful natural environment, surrounded by dense forests and clear streams, which attracts nature lovers looking for tranquility. As an ordinary town in the interior of Albania, Zermio is less well known to tourists, but it is one of the windows to life in the non-urban areas of Albania, as it reveals the true rural life and cultural heritage of the region.
