São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Located in northeastern North Dakota, United States, Delamere (Devils Lake) is the county seat of Ramsey County and an important economic and community center for the region. The city is centered on the eponymous Devils Lake, one of the largest natural saltwater lakes in North America, which varies significantly in size from season to season, attracting a large number of fishing, hunting, and water sports enthusiasts, and has been described as "North Dakota's Waterpark". The local economy is based on agriculture, with wheat, soybeans, corn, and other crops, and animal husbandry also plays an important role. With a population of approximately 7,000, the community is quiet and friendly, and natural landscapes and outdoor resources are the city's main attractions for residents and visitors looking for a quiet life and natural experiences.
