São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Dacheng County is located in the south of Langfang City, Hebei Province, China, in the hinterland of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Economic Circle, and is an important county-level administrative region in the North China Plain. With a total area of 904 square kilometers and a population of about 500,000, the county is known for its agriculture, manufacturing and specialty industries. With a long history dating back to the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods, Dacheng boasts a rich cultural heritage, such as ancient buildings and traditional handicrafts.
Economically, Dacheng is famous for its insulation materials, non-ferrous metal processing and mahogany furniture industries, and is known as the "Hometown of China's Insulation Materials" and the "Hometown of China's Beijing-made Classical Furniture". Conveniently located near Beijing and Tianjin, the city has a well-developed highway network that facilitates regional connectivity. The area focuses on ecological development and the promotion of a green economy, while preserving simple folkways and cultural traditions, making it a vibrant place that blends history and modernity.
