São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Changzhou is located in the southern part of Jiangsu Province, China, and is one of the most important cities in the Yangtze River Delta, with a history of more than 2,500 years. As a member of the South Jiangsu Economic Core Region, Changzhou is known for its manufacturing, new energy and rail transportation industries, and has been dubbed the "Dragon City of China".
The city is a blend of classical and modern elements, with famous attractions including the Tianning Zen Temple, China Dinosaur Park and the Spring and Autumn Drowned City Ruins. The Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal passes through the city, giving it a unique water town culture. Changzhou has convenient transportation, with the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway and several highways intersecting here, and is only 1-2 hours' drive from Nanjing and Shanghai.
In recent years, Changzhou has vigorously developed intelligent manufacturing and green energy industries, forming industrial clusters such as photovoltaic and new energy vehicles, while maintaining the inheritance of traditional non-legacy cultures such as Suzhou embroidery and combing, showing the unique charm of a city where the ancient and the modern are blended.
