São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Brownsville is the county seat of Haywood County, located in the western part of the U.S. state of Tennessee, in the hinterland of Tennessee's agricultural region, about 80 kilometers from the city of Memphis. With a population of about 10,000, this small city is known for its friendly community atmosphere and deep agricultural roots. The local economy is based on traditional crop cultivation, such as cotton and soybeans, with gradual development of manufacturing and logistics in recent years. Brownsville is home to a number of historic sites, such as a Victorian complex and a local museum, and the annual Haywood County Agricultural Fair attracts neighborhood residents and showcases a strong sense of Southern culture. As an important community node in West Tennessee, it offers a mix of rural tranquility and urban convenience for residents and visitors seeking a slower pace of life to explore.
