São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Braintree is a historic town in Norfolk County, Massachusetts, United States, located in the southern part of the Boston metropolitan area, about 10 miles from downtown Boston. Founded in 1640, Braintree has a rich colonial history and was the birthplace of John Adams, the second president of the United States. The city's topography is predominantly hilly and plain, bordered by the Neponset River, and rich in green space and parks, including the famous Braintree Square and Sunset Lake Scenic Area.
As a regional commercial center, Braintree is home to Braintree Square, a large shopping mall with retail brands such as Target and Best Buy. The city is well connected to Boston via Interstate 93 and the Red Line (Braintree Station), making it a convenient commuter attraction for businesses and residents.
