São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Biên Hòa is the capital of Binh Duong province in Vietnam, located in the southeast of the country, about 30 kilometers away from the center of Ho Chi Minh City, and is an important industrial satellite city of this economic circle. As one of the more industrialized cities in Vietnam, Biên Hòa has several large-scale industrial parks, such as Biên Hòa and VSIP industrial parks, attracting a large number of foreign-funded enterprises, with well-developed electronics, machinery manufacturing and textile industries. Bien Hoa has convenient transportation, with National Highway No. 1 and the North-South Expressway running through the city, and the future extension of Ho Chi Minh City Metro Line No. 1 to the city will further connect the two areas. With a population of more than 1 million, Ho Chi Minh City is one of the top 10 cities in Vietnam in terms of population. The city has been developing rapidly in tandem with the economy, combining industrial vitality and regional hub functions.
