São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Located in central Oklahoma, USA, Bethany is an important part of the Oklahoma City metropolitan area and is conveniently located only about 10 miles (16 km) from the city center. Incorporated in 1909, this city has a population of approximately 30,000 and is known for its peaceful neighborhood atmosphere and livability. Bethany is well-served by educational resources, including several public schools and Southern Nazarene University, a Bethany Christian university that provides a quality education for local residents. City parks and green spaces are plentiful, such as Bethany Park and Stanton Park, which are popular places for family recreation and outdoor activities. As the quintessential suburban community, Bethany blends convenient city life with a laid-back town feel, attracting residents who seek a balanced lifestyle while retaining a deep sense of history and community cohesion.
