São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Located in the central part of Gansu Province, on the upper reaches of the Yellow River, Baiyin City is an important transportation hub connecting the northwest and the mainland. Named for the "silver" deposits, it was once a key non-ferrous metal base during the First Five-Year Plan period, and enjoys the reputation of "China's Copper City". It is now under the jurisdiction of Baiyin and Pingchuan districts and Huining, Jingyuan and Jingtai counties, with a total area of 21,200 square kilometers. Here the Yellow River passes through the territory, giving birth to the Yellow River Stone Forest and other geological wonders, set Danxia landforms, canyons, grasslands in one; Huining Red Army Division site is an important symbol of the victory of the Long March, the red culture has a deep heritage. In recent years, silver relying on the industrial base of transformation and development, while promoting modern agriculture and new energy industry, is the Longyuan land both historical heritage and modern vitality of the emerging city.
