São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Located in the northeast of the province of Buenos Aires, the city of Avellaneda is a central part of the Greater Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area, situated on the banks of the Río de la Plata, just 12 kilometers from the capital city of Buenos Aires. The city, named after the 19th century Argentine president Nicolás Avellaneda, is an important witness to the industrialization of Argentina. As an important industrial center of the country, Avellaneda has a diversified system of industries such as steel, chemicals, food processing, etc., and its port is a hub connecting the inland and the Río de la Plata, which plays a key role in the transportation of large quantities of goods. It is also a vibrant area with renowned sports organizations such as the Independiente Athletic Club. With a population of about 330,000 people, the city is a multicultural mix of traditional Argentine heritage and urbanization, and is a window to Argentina's industrial and river port culture.
