São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Aohan Banner is located in the southeastern part of Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China, at the northern foot of Nuruerhu Mountain, with a total area of about 8,300 square kilometers. It is one of the important birthplaces of Chinese civilization, famous for the "First Dragon of China" and the Xinglongwa Cultural Site, known as the "Dragon Ancestor Jade Source Land". Aohan Banner has an excellent ecological environment and has been awarded the title of "Global Environment 500" by the United Nations, and has a dry farming system that is a "globally important agricultural cultural heritage".
The economy is dominated by agriculture and animal husbandry, producing millet, grains and other specialty agricultural products, while coal and other mineral resources are abundant. The local folk culture is rich, and the traditional Mongolian Naadam Conference and grassland scenery attract many tourists. Aohan Banner is conveniently connected to neighboring cities by road and rail, making it an important cultural and ecological tourism destination in Inner Mongolia.
