São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Located in the northern part of China's Henan Province, Anyang is an important city at the junction of Henan, Jin and Hebei provinces, with a history of more than 3,000 years as one of the eight ancient capitals of China. It is the place where the oracle bone inscriptions were discovered and the site of Yin Ruins, which is listed as a World Heritage Site and is regarded as an important birthplace of Chinese civilization.
Anyang is famous for its historical sites such as the Yinxu Museum, Wenfeng Pagoda and Yue Fei Temple, attracting tourists from all over the world to explore the civilization of the Shang Dynasty. The Red Flag Canal, a modern miracle of water conservancy engineering, also demonstrates the spirit of struggle of the local people. The city blends ancient culture with modern development, making it a key destination for studying ancient Chinese history and the evolution of writing.
The economy of Anyang is dominated by iron and steel, manufacturing and agriculture, and is conveniently located in the Central Plains Economic Zone. The climate is temperate monsoon with four distinct seasons, making it suitable for tourism and residence. The city enjoys high global visibility for its rich history and unique cultural appeal.
