São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Amalfi, Colombia, located in the northeastern department of Antioquia, is a quiet town in the hinterland of the Andes, about 120 kilometers from Medellín, the capital of the department. Famous for its magnificent mountainous landscape and traditional coffee growing culture, it is surrounded by emerald green mountains and terraced rice fields that fill the air with the aroma of coffee beans. The town retains the rustic look of the Colombian countryside, with colonial-style buildings intertwined with modern amenities, attracting tourists looking for a natural and cultural experience. Agriculture is the mainstay of the economy, especially the production of high-quality coffee beans, which has earned Amalfi its reputation as the "land of coffee", thanks to the warmth and friendliness of its inhabitants. Despite its small size, its unique location and simple atmosphere make it an excellent place to explore the interior of Colombia.
