São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Arceti is the capital of Cuango Province in the southwestern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), located in the central plateau region of the country. The city is the political, economic and cultural center of the Cuango Province, with agriculture and mining as the mainstays of the economy. The area around Arcadie is rich in crops such as maize, cassava and peanuts, as well as mineral resources such as copper and cobalt.
Located in the interior of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), at an altitude of about 1,000 meters above sea level, Aketi has a savannah climate, with an average annual temperature of 20-25 ℃, and distinct rainy and dry seasons. The city is connected by road to major cities such as Kananga and Mbuji-Mayi, making it one of the regional transportation hubs.
The local population is predominantly Bantu, speaking Chiluba and French, and traditional crafts and folk music are relatively well developed. Arcadia's infrastructure is relatively simple, with limited resources for healthcare and education, but in recent years the government has been gradually promoting infrastructure development. The city is surrounded by several nature reserves and waterfalls, offering potential for eco-tourism.
