Jagannathpur is a district-level city in the Chittagong Division of Bangladesh. It is located in the southeast of the country, adjacent to the Indian border, and is an important transportation node connecting Bangladesh with eastern India. It is an important transportation node connecting Bangladesh and India to the east. The region's economy is based on agriculture, with rice, tea and other crops, and in recent years, small-scale textile and handicraft processing industries have emerged.
