Located in the Daxinganling region of Heilongjiang Province, China, Huzhong is one of the northernmost towns in China and is known as the "coldest town in China". The average annual temperature here is as low as -4.3°C, and the extreme temperature in winter can reach below -50°C, which attracts many tourists to experience the extreme cold climate and snowy landscape.
With natural landscapes such as pristine forests, the headwaters of the Huma River and stone forests in the Cangshan Mountains, Huzhong is an ideal destination for outdoor adventure and eco-tourism. Winter is unique for ice sculptures, snow scenes and aurora observation activities, while summer is suitable for summer vacation and forest hiking.
The local economy is based on forestry, tourism and specialty farming, and specialties include blueberries, pine nuts and other mountain products. Huzhong retains a strong northern frontier culture, and the way of life of its inhabitants is closely linked to nature, making it a representative area for experiencing the unique flavor of China's high latitudes.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
