Hutubi County, located in Chang Hui Autonomous Prefecture of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is situated in the northern foothills of the Tianshan Mountains, at the southern edge of the Junggar Basin, and was an important post on the northern route of the ancient Silk Road. It is blessed with natural landscapes, ranging from snowy mountains and glaciers to grassland and wetlands, and from desert oasis to Danxia landforms, with four distinct seasons and beautiful scenery. The primitive forests of national forest parks and the meandering nourishment of the Hutubi River have nurtured rich animal and plant resources.
