Hunchun is located in the eastern part of Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture in Jilin Province, China. It is situated at the junction of China, Russia and North Korea, and bordered by the Sea of Japan, making it the only coastal city in China bordering the Sea of Japan. As the geometric center of Northeast Asia, Hunchun has unique location advantages and is an important node city in the "Belt and Road" initiative.
The city is rich in natural resources and has a beautiful ecological environment, including the Fangchuan National Scenic Spot, where you can experience the unique landscape of "three countries at a glance". The local economy is dominated by foreign trade, tourism, aquatic processing and other industries, and there is the Hunchun International Cooperation Demonstration Zone, which actively promotes cross-border cooperation with neighboring countries such as Russia and North Korea.
Hunchun has a mild and humid climate, a diverse ethnic culture, and a unique border atmosphere where traditional Korean and Han cultures blend and coexist, making it an ideal destination for exploring the culture and natural resources of Northeast Asia.
Asmara, the capital of Eritrea, is located on the country's central plateau at an altitude of about 2,350 meters and has a pleasant climate that has been described as the "Italy of Africa". The city is a blend of Italian colonial architecture and local culture, with a large number of well-preserved modernist buildings, including futuristic churches, Art Deco theaters, and colorful homes. An example of early 20th century urban planning, its historic center was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2017. Asmara is not only a political and economic hub, but is also known for its unique cultural scene and laid-back pace of life, and is a window to explore Eritrea's history and diverse civilizations.
