Huludao City is located in the southwest of Liaoning Province, at the western end of the western corridor of Liaoning Province, with the Bohai Sea to the south, the Songling Mountains to the north, Jinzhou to the east, and Shanhaiguan to the west. It is an important node city of the Bohai Economic Circle, and a coastal open city in the strategy of revitalization of the old industrial bases in the Northeast.
