Huizhou is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Guangdong Province, located at the northeastern end of the Pearl River Delta, adjacent to Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Dongguan, and is an important node city of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Known for its beautiful natural scenery, Huizhou boasts a superior ecological environment with seaside resorts such as Xunliao Bay and Shuangyue Bay, as well as national forest parks such as Luofu Mountain and Nankun Mountain. As a historical city, Huizhou has cultural heritages such as the former residence of Su Dongpo. Economically, Huizhou is a base for electronic information and petrochemical industries, attracting investments from large enterprises such as TCL and China Shipping Shell. The transportation is convenient, with a well-developed network of high-speed railways and expressways, and the urbanization process has accelerated in recent years, making life highly livable.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
