Huanghua City, located in the southeast of Hebei Province, China, is a county-level city under the administration of Cangzhou City, situated on the west coast of Bohai Bay and an important node of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Economic Circle. It has a total area of about 1,811 square kilometers and a population of about 500,000 people. Named after the heroic Huanghua Martyrs, Huanghua has a deep historical and cultural heritage.
Huanghua is an important port city in northern China. Huanghua Port is the main outlet to the sea and an energy hub in Hebei Province, and the economy is dominated by chemical industry, equipment manufacturing and aquatic processing, relying on the logistics of the port, port-related industries and fishery resources. The local specialties of shrimps and jujubes are famous all over the country and are known as "the hometown of Chinese jujubes".
Huanghua has natural landscapes such as the wetland of Nandagang and the ancient shell dyke, and features both coastal ecology and red tourism, making it a popular destination for short-distance travel in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. The transportation is convenient with well-developed highway and railroad networks, forming a 1-hour economic circle with Beijing and Tianjin.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
