Huayuan County, a part of Bengbu City, Anhui Province, is located in the north of Anhui Province, in the middle reaches of the Huai River, in the transition zone between the North China Plain and the Jianghuai Plain, and is known as the "Pearl of the Huai River". This thousand-year-old county is named after its proximity to the Huaihe River and the distant view of Jingshan Mountain.
