Located in the southeastern part of Henan Province, China, Huaiyang is part of Zhoukou City and is one of the important birthplaces of Chinese civilization. It has a long history with more than 6,000 years of cultural deposits and is famous for its Fuxi culture and family name culture. Huaiyang is the capital and resting place of Taihao Fuxi, known as the "Pioneer of Huaxia and Sacred Site of the Nine States".
The main attractions include the Taihao Mausoleum Temple (National 4A Scenic Spot), which organizes a grand-scale temple fair from February 2 to March 3 of the lunar calendar every year, attracting millions of tourists. Longhu National Wetland Park is the largest city-ringed lake in the Central Plains, rich in ecological resources and suitable for leisure and sightseeing. Huaiyang is also the place of origin of ten major family names, such as Chen and Hu, and has a deep cultural heritage.
The local economy is mainly based on agriculture and tourism, with specialties such as Huaiyang yellow cauliflower and bushy cabbage. Transportation is convenient, with access to neighboring cities via high-speed and railroad networks. With its blend of history, culture and natural landscapes, Huaiyang is an important destination for exploring the civilization of the Central Plains.
Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. The town's landmarks include a century-old community church and several Victorian-style homes, and the annual fall "Ruby Family Day," which blends elements of local Cajun and Creole culture, has become a shared memory for the surrounding residents. Despite its small size, Ruby epitomizes the serenity of the American countryside with its simple folk and distinctive Louisiana southern flavor.
