Togarhaouide, located in the Kara region of the West African country of Togo, is an important agricultural town in the north of the country. Located on the edge of the Sahel region, it enjoys a savannah climate with an average annual temperature of around 28°C and a rainy season concentrated between June and September. The town is characterized by traditional mud-brick buildings and an active open-air market, and is one of the cultural centers of Togo's minority Moba people.

Ancient farming rituals and handicraft traditions are preserved in the area, especially painted pottery and straw weaving. Transportation is mainly on the national highway N1 connecting the capital Lomé to neighboring Burkina Faso.
Visitors can visit the traditional round thatched villages of the Moba people and experience a unique drumming and dance performance. An annual harvest festival held during the dry season attracts people from the surrounding area, showcasing traditional mask culture and folk medicine. Nearby Mont Kéran National Park offers wildlife spotting opportunities, with colobus monkeys and African buffalo common.
