Huaibin County is part of Xinyang City, Henan Province, China, located in the southeastern part of Henan Province, the middle and upper reaches of the Huaihe River, and at the junction of Henan and Anhui Provinces. The county has a total area of about 1,208 square kilometers and a population of about 700,000 people.
Huaibin, named after the Huai River, is a typical agricultural county, producing rice, wheat and other food crops, known as the "land of fish and rice". The industry is mainly textile, food processing and shipbuilding, and there is the largest river port in the southeast of Henan Province--Huabin Port.
Huaibin has a long history, and there are cultural monuments such as the ruins of the former city of Jiangguo and the period of the Si platform in its territory. The local specialties, such as chicken and duck, are well known. The Dragon Boat Race held in Dragon Boat Festival every year is an important folk cultural activity in Huaibin.
The transportation of Huaibin is convenient, 220 National Highway and Huagu Expressway pass through the city, and the port of Huaibin is accessible to ships of 1,000 tons, which can reach the Yangtze River through the Huaihe River, forming a multimodal transportation pattern of "public railway and water".
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
