Located in Merrimack County in the southern part of the U.S. state of New Hampshire, Hooksett is a town known for its livable environment and vibrant community. Only about 15 minutes from Manchester (the state's largest city), it is conveniently located with Interstate 93 running through the town, connecting it to major northeastern cities such as Boston. With a population of approximately 17,000, the town has a friendly, family-oriented community with a number of quality public schools and excellent public facilities. Xiangan District is located in the northeastern part of Xiamen City, Fujian Province, China, and was established as an administrative district in 2003 as an important part of the Xiamen Special Economic Zone. The district is bordered by the Taiwan Strait in the east, Tong'an District in the west, Huli District in the south and Nan'an City in the north, with a total area of about 411.5 square kilometers. Xiang'an is positioned for development as a modern coastal new city, with major infrastructure such as Xiamen Xiang'an International Airport (under construction) and Xiang'an Tunnel, and an economy based on the pillars of electronic information, marine industry and modern agriculture. The region has a rich cultural heritage, retaining traditional southern Fujian customs such as Gezai Opera and Nanyin, and famous attractions include the Xiangshan Rock Temple and Dadeng Battlefield Sightseeing Park. With its strategic location and economic growth potential, Xiangan has become an important node in the Golden Triangle of Southern Fujian.
