Hongmei is a town under the jurisdiction of Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, China, located on the east coast of the Pearl River Delta and at the core of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The town is characterized by manufacturing and industrial development, with diversified industries such as electronics, hardware and textiles, and strong economic vitality. It has an excellent geographical location and convenient transportation, close to major cities such as Guangzhou and Shenzhen.
Hongmei Town has a beautiful natural environment with a dense river network and a typical Lingnan water town style, while focusing on a balance between ecological protection and urbanization. Culturally, it inherits the tradition of Guangfu, is rich in folklore activities, and its diet is based on Cantonese cuisine. In recent years, Hongmei has actively promoted industrial upgrading and infrastructure construction, becoming one of the representatives of modernized towns in Dongguan.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
