Chřibská is a miniature town in the Czech province of Liberec, known as the "smallest city in the Czech Republic", located in the forested area of northern Bohemia near the German border, surrounded by rolling hills and virgin forests, like a hidden emerald. The town is famous for its long tradition of glass making, and has been an important production area for Bohemian glass since the Middle Ages. The town still retains an ancient glass workshop and a glass museum, where visitors can experience the glass blowing process and feel the inheritance of a hundred years of craftsmanship. The town's Baroque church of St. John Nepomuk and timber-framed houses exude a rich historical atmosphere, while the surrounding Hnevotin Gorge and rocky trails are a paradise for hiking enthusiasts, with wildflowers abounding in the spring and forests in the fall, providing scenery for all seasons. Despite its small size, Hnevotin is an ideal destination for exploring the hidden beauty of the Czech Republic with its tranquil atmosphere, unique glass culture and pristine natural beauty.
