Hibernia is a small municipality in Morris County, New Jersey, United States, located in the northern part of the state, about 48 kilometers (30 mi) from New York City, and part of the greater New York metropolitan area. The town, which covers an area of about 3.2 square kilometers and has a population of about a few thousand, is known for its peaceful suburban community setting and strong family atmosphere. Deriving its name from the Latin term for Ireland, Hibernia was settled and developed by Irish immigrants in the early days and still retains some of the historic flavor of a European town. The area is predominantly residential, with excellent public schools and community facilities, and residents commute to New York or neighboring cities for work. The surrounding natural environment is beautiful, with close proximity to state parks and nature preserves for outdoor activities, making it one of New Jersey's livable small towns.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
