Heviz is a town in western Hungary, located near Lake Balaton, famous for having the largest natural thermal lake in the world, Lake Heviz. The lake covers an area of about 4.4 hectares and its water temperature is maintained at 24-38 degrees Celsius all year round. It is rich in minerals such as sulphur, calcium and magnesium, and is believed to have curative effects on rheumatism and joint pain.
The history of the hot springs in Hévíz dates back to Roman times, and since the 19th century it has become a famous European health resort. Visitors can enjoy thermal baths, mud treatments and physiotherapy services in the area, which is also surrounded by forest trails and classical architecture. The town is conveniently located about 2 hours from the capital Budapest, making it a popular destination for health tourism.
Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy.
