Havana is the capital and largest city of Cuba, located on the northwestern coast of the island, and is an important political, economic and cultural center in the Caribbean. Westlake is a city in Calcasieu Parish in the southwestern U.S. state of Louisiana, located west of the city of Lake Charles and bordering the Calcasieu River. As part of the greater Lake Charles metropolitan area, the city's core economic pillar is the petrochemical industry, with a number of large chemical plants and refineries, and is known as a key node in the "chemical corridor".
