Located in the central part of China's Anhui Province, Henshan County is part of Maanshan City, with a total area of about 1,028 square kilometers and a population of about 400,000 people. Located in the Yangtze River Delta Economic Zone, it is an important historical and cultural city in Anhui Province and an eco-tourism destination. Henshan is named after "the mountains with the daisy", and has a beautiful natural environment, with well-known attractions such as the Taihu Mountain National Forest Park and the Lingjiatan Ruins.
Henshan has a long history, and the Lingjiatan Ruins, dating back to about 5,500 years ago, is one of the important birthplaces of Chinese civilization. The county is rich in culture, and traditional festivals such as the "Henshan Silkworm Customs" have been listed as intangible cultural heritage. The economy is based on agriculture, manufacturing and tourism, with rice and oilseed rape in abundance, and industry covering machinery manufacturing and building materials.
The landscape of Hanshan is mainly hilly, with a subtropical monsoon climate and four distinct seasons. It is rich in tourism resources, including Taihu Mountain National Forest Park, Huayang Cave of Baochen Mountain and Zhaoguan Scenic Area, which are suitable for eco-tourism and cultural exploration. Conveniently located near major cities such as Hefei and Nanjing, it is an important node of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.
Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims. The local economy is based on fishing, tourism and agriculture, and the climate is cool enough for summer vacations.
With a population of around 20,000, the town of Sevan retains its traditional Armenian culture, while the infrastructure is constantly being improved to provide accommodation and catering services. It is an ideal starting point for exploring the nature and history of the Caucasus and is easily accessible for short trips.
