Hangzhou is the capital of Zhejiang Province in China, located in the southern wing of the Yangtze River Delta, and is a famous historical and cultural city as well as a scenic tourist destination. With the West Lake as its core, the city has the reputation of "Paradise on Earth", and the cultural landscape of the West Lake has been inscribed on the World Heritage List. As the host city of the G20 Summit and the 2022 Asian Games, Hangzhou blends traditional and modern elements.
Economically, Hangzhou is a digital economy highland, home to Alibaba's headquarters and known as the "e-commerce capital of China". The city has high green coverage, the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal runs through the city, and attractions such as Meijiawu, the birthplace of Longjing tea, attract a large number of tourists. Transportation is convenient, with Xiaoshan International Airport connecting the world and a well-developed high-speed rail network. With its livable environment, innovative vitality and deep cultural heritage, Hangzhou has become an international city in the global spotlight.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
