Handan, a prefecture-level city in Hebei Province, is located at the junction of four provinces in southern Hebei, and is a node city of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Cooperative Development Strategy. The city is known as the "Capital of Chinese Idioms and Tales". The city is rich in cultural heritage, including the ruins of Zhao Wangcheng, Nuwa Palace (a World Heritage Site), and Guangfu Ancient City (a representative of ancient cities in northern China). Nowadays, Handan is the central city of central and southern Hebei, with a strong foundation of equipment manufacturing, iron and steel, new materials and other industries, and is accelerating its transformation and upgrading to create a modern city that is pleasant to live, work and visit.
