Haizhu District is one of the central districts of Guangzhou, located on the south bank of the Guangzhou section of the Pearl River, surrounded by the river on three sides, with a total area of 90.40 square kilometers. As one of the old four districts of Guangzhou, Haizhu has a history dating back to the Qin and Han Dynasties, and boasts landmarks such as the Huangpu Ancient Harbor and the Canton Tower, blending the culture of a thousand-year old commercial capital with the modern cityscape. The regional economy is dominated by the convention and exhibition industry, technological innovation and trade services, with the Canton Fair Complex attracting global businessmen every year and the Pazhou Internet Innovation Cluster being the core engine of the digital economy. Ecological aspects, Haizhu Wetland Park is a rare urban center of 10,000 acres of green lungs, and the landscape zone along the Pearl River together constitute a livable environment. The transportation network is well-developed, with subways, buses and cross-river bridges seamlessly connecting the whole area of Guangzhou. Traditional Lingnan buildings and skyscrapers coexist side by side, presenting a unique skyline, which is an important part of Guangzhou's "Cloud, Mountain, Pearl and Water" urban pattern.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
