Gżira is an important seaside town in the northern part of the island of Malta, strategically located close to the capital Valletta and the bustling city of Sliema, and is one of Malta's business and leisure hubs. With a resident population of around 12,000, the town is known for its multicultural and cosmopolitan atmosphere, with the Pembroke Coast attracting tourists and locals alike to stroll around and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea. The town has a convenient mix of cafes, boutiques and modern architecture. As an educational hub, the main campus of the University of Malta is partly located here, adding to the youthful vibrancy of the town. With its proximity to Valletta, tourism and services, Gzira is an ideal stopover for exploring Malta's history and natural beauty, combining tranquillity of the sea with the convenience of the city.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
