Located in the northwestern part of Nantou County, Taiwan, and bordered by Taichung City in the north, Guoxing Township is the only township in Taiwan named after the title of a historical figure. Zheng Chenggong was given the surname "Zhu" by the Southern Ming Dynasty, and was honored by the people as the "Master of the National Surname", from which the name of the township originates. The terrain is mainly hilly and mountainous, with the Beigang River and its tributaries running through the whole area, and the climate is subtropical monsoon.
The residents of Guoxiao Township are mainly Hakka people, accounting for more than 80% of the total population, and it is a major town of Hakka culture in Nantou County. The area is rich in loquats, bananas, ginger, and coffee, of which "Guoxiao Coffee" has become a well-known brand of agricultural products. The annual event "National Surname Robbing Success" combines the culture of Zheng Chenggong and the Hakka spirit, and is listed as one of the 12 major festivals in Taiwan's Hakka Village.
The area is home to natural landscapes such as the Jiufen Ershan National Earthquake Memorial Site and the Huisun Forestry, as well as historical buildings such as the Nuomi Stone Bridge. One of the sources of Taiwan's longest river, the Turbid Water Creek, is located in the township, which is rich in ecological resources. In recent years, it has been actively developing eco-tourism and agricultural experiences, becoming an important leisure travel destination in Central Taiwan.

The area has a predominantly agrarian economy, producing crops such as corn and wheat, and is surrounded by the typical Hungarian landscape of the Great Plain.
Zilsz has retained its traditional Hungarian countryside, with a Roman Catholic church built in the 18th century and typical local residential buildings. The name of the town is derived from medieval documents, reflecting the historical continuity of the settlements in the Hungarian plains.
Located in the hinterland of the Hungarian Great Plain, Zilsz is connected to regional centers such as Kecskemét by a network of roads. The flat terrain makes it ideal for cycling, and visitors can explore the surrounding farmland landscape along country roads.
The area is known for its original countryside experience, where visitors can participate in farm activities, sample local wines, and experience traditional Hungarian horseback riding culture. The annual summer folklore festival focuses on local handicrafts and folk music.
