The area is mainly agricultural, producing tropical fruits such as lotus flower and mango, and in recent years it has gradually developed into an area with both idyllic landscapes and modern residential functions. Guiren District has a rich cultural heritage, with unique humanistic landscapes such as Mazu culture and traditional temples, epitomizing the diverse cultures of southern Taiwan.
