Guiding County is located in the northern part of Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in Guizhou Province of China, about 80 kilometers away from Guiyang, the provincial capital, and is a county characterized by natural ecology and multiculturalism. The county covers an area of 1,631 square kilometers and has a population of about 300,000, with ethnic minorities, mainly Buyi and Miao, accounting for more than half of the total population, and a rich ethnic flavor.
