Gubardag is a major port city in Turkmenistan's western Balkan region, situated on the eastern coast of the Caspian Sea and strategically located as a key transportation hub connecting Central Asia with the neighboring countries on the Caspian Sea. As one of Turkmenistan's major oil and gas exporting ports, the city plays an important role in the regional economy based on its rich energy resources. Podlugovi is a quiet town in the Sarajevo Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), located about 15 kilometers southeast of the capital city of Sarajevo, in the municipal district of Visoko. The town is located in the Central Bosnia region, surrounded by rolling hills and forests, and has a beautiful natural environment with a predominantly Bosnian population, mostly practicing Islam.
