Introduction to Guantian, Taiwan, China

Guantian is located in the center of Tainan City, Taiwan, China, and is a typical agricultural township. The district is famous for its lozenge industry, which accounts for more than 80% of the annual production of lozenges in Taiwan, and attracts a large number of tourists to its annual lozenge festival. Guantian is also the hometown of Taiwan's former leader Chen Shui-bian, whose former residence has become a local specialty attraction.
