Located in the southeastern part of Henan Province, China, Guangshan County is part of Xinyang City and is situated in the old revolutionary area of Dabie Mountain, a county-level administrative region characterized by agriculture and history and culture. With a total area of 1,835 square kilometers and a population of about 860,000, the county has a mild climate and rich natural resources.
Gwangshan has a long history and is the hometown of Sima Guang, famous for its "wisdom culture". There are many ancient monuments and red revolutionary sites, such as Deng Yingchao's ancestral home and the former site of Wang Dawan Conference. Gwangshan is also one of the birthplaces of the traditional Chinese opera "Flower Drum Opera", which has a deep cultural heritage.
The economy is based on agriculture, producing rice, wheat, rape and other crops, and is an important grain production base in Henan Province. At the same time, Guangshan is actively developing tourism and green industries, relying on landscape ecology and red cultural resources to promote sustainable development.
Gwangshan County has convenient transportation and a well-developed highway network, close to the Beijing-Kowloon Railway and the Daguang Expressway, connecting major cities in and out of Henan Province. The terrain is dominated by hills and plains, and the Huai River flows through the county, making the natural environment beautiful.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
