Located in the eastern part of Sichuan Province, Guang'an City is the hometown of Comrade Deng Xiaoping, and is known as "the cradle of the chief architect of China's reform and opening up". It is located in the middle part of Huayhuash Mountain and along the Qiujiang River, a tributary of the Jialing River, with a mild and humid climate, belonging to the subtropical monsoon climate zone. With a long history and profound culture, Guang'an is rich in red tourism resources and natural landscapes.
With Deng Xiaoping's hometown tourism area as the core, Guang'an contains Deng Xiaoping's former residence, exhibition halls and other patriotic education bases, which attracts a large number of domestic and overseas tourists every year. In terms of natural landscape, Huaying Mountain Stone Forest, Tianyi Valley and other karst landscapes are unique and rich in biodiversity. Economically, based on agriculture, it produces rice and citrus, and also develops new energy, equipment manufacturing and other industries, and is an important node city of the Twin Cities Economic Circle in the Chengdu-Chongqing area.
Guang'an has convenient transportation, with the Xiangyu Railway and Lanhai Expressway running through the whole territory, and is only one hour's drive from Chongqing Jiangbei Airport. Local specialties include Yuechi Rice Vermicelli and Salt Eggs, and the intangible cultural heritage Sichuan Opera Lantern Show is popular among the public. The city is actively promoting the integration of ecological construction and culture and tourism to create the brand of "Red Guang'an - Green Home".
Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims. The local economy is based on fishing, tourism and agriculture, and the climate is cool enough for summer vacations.
With a population of around 20,000, the town of Sevan retains its traditional Armenian culture, while the infrastructure is constantly being improved to provide accommodation and catering services. It is an ideal starting point for exploring the nature and history of the Caucasus and is easily accessible for short trips.
