Located in the eastern part of Sichuan Province, Guang'an City is the hometown of Comrade Deng Xiaoping, and is known as "the cradle of the chief architect of China's reform and opening up". It is located in the middle part of Huayhuash Mountain and along the Qiujiang River, a tributary of the Jialing River, with a mild and humid climate, belonging to the subtropical monsoon climate zone. With a long history and profound culture, Guang'an is rich in red tourism resources and natural landscapes.
With Deng Xiaoping's hometown tourism area as the core, Guang'an contains Deng Xiaoping's former residence, exhibition halls and other patriotic education bases, which attracts a large number of domestic and overseas tourists every year. In terms of natural landscape, Huaying Mountain Stone Forest, Tianyi Valley and other karst landscapes are unique and rich in biodiversity. Economically, based on agriculture, it produces rice and citrus, and also develops new energy, equipment manufacturing and other industries, and is an important node city of the Twin Cities Economic Circle in the Chengdu-Chongqing area.
Guang'an has convenient transportation, with the Xiangyu Railway and Lanhai Expressway running through the whole territory, and is only one hour's drive from Chongqing Jiangbei Airport. Local specialties include Yuechi Rice Vermicelli and Salt Eggs, and the intangible cultural heritage Sichuan Opera Lantern Show is popular among the public. The city is actively promoting the integration of ecological construction and culture and tourism to create the brand of "Red Guang'an - Green Home".
Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. The town's landmarks include a century-old community church and several Victorian-style homes, and the annual fall "Ruby Family Day," which blends elements of local Cajun and Creole culture, has become a shared memory for the surrounding residents. Despite its small size, Ruby epitomizes the serenity of the American countryside with its simple folk and distinctive Louisiana southern flavor.
